The Naila's Studio Sketchbook

The SketchBook is where every brand begins.

Before a logo becomes polished. Before colours are locked in. Before typography is refined. It starts here in pencil, on paper, with structure and intention behind every line.

This space documents my early concept development process: raw logo explorations, layout planning, brand marks, submarks, typography experiments and strategic thinking captured by hand before moving into digital execution. It’s where ideas are tested, challenged, simplified and strengthened.

You’ll see initial logo concepts, secondary marks, icon development, layout structures for print and digital, and visual identity foundations taking shape in real time. Some sketches evolve into full brand identities. Others remain experiments that helped sharpen the final direction. Every page plays a role.

For me, design isn’t accidental and it’s never just about making something “look nice.” It’s about building structure, clarity and presence from the ground up. These pages show the thinking behind the visuals, the strategy behind the aesthetic.
